Deciding on the Trek Route: Should You start from Senaru, Sembalun, or Torean?

How do you choose between the Senaru, Sembalun, or Torean routes? If you have three days or more to spare, you can choose between Torean, Sembalun, or Senaru and this depends on your physical abilities.

if you have good fiteness level or experienced mountain hiker you can choose Senaru, Sembalun, or Torean for 2 days 1 night or more, but if you are a beginner hiker choose the Senaru trek route for 2 days 1 night to the Rim or the new official Torean route for 3 days 2 nights to the Segara Anak lake.

For 3 days 2 nights summit and lake you have to be very good level of fitness because this trip is very hard especially for 2nd day trek: start at 3.00 am in the morning from crater rim Sembalun 2.639m to climb tne summit on 3726m then down to the crater rim and continue to the lake 2000m and from the lake climb to the the crater rim Senaru on 2641m.
